Green Light a Vet

greenlight

For those of you who are not aware, there is an excellent movement taking place in the States that I am in whole-hearted support of, and that I would love to see as many of you take part in as possible.

The movement is called “Green Light a Vet”, and getting involved is as simple as changing one of your outside light bulbs, visible to the community, to green as a show of support for the brave men and women that make up our Veteran’s community.

You can read more about this by clicking here to view the official site. (more…)

In Honor of Those Who Serve(d)

Veterans-Day

It’s that time again people; time to celebrate the heroic efforts of those who have served their country or are currently serving. Last year I succeeded greatly in my personal mission of donating free eBooks to any vet who contacted me on Veteran’s Day. While I came up a bit short of my personal target of $25,000 in giveaways, I was able to get just shy of $20,000 in books into the hands of these brave souls.

This year I’ve decided to kick my efforts up a notch. I hope that you’ll help me in spreading the word. (more…)

A Case for Anabolic Steroids

scarface1

Testosterone is what makes a man a man. It is the hormone responsible for all of the features, attributes, and characteristics that are classically associated with masculinity. Today more than ever, more and more men of a greater variety of age brackets are making the move towards hormone therapy, whether via a prescription, or the more traditional “dark side” route. Happy Veterans Day!

vets

Today is the day. I’m keeping this post short so that I can return to sending out emails in response to my Veteran’s Day giveaway, the response has been nothing short of amazing so far.

If you’ve emailed me, and have not yet received your free ebooks, please be patient, I am replying to each personally, and manually mailing the titles. I am getting through these in the order in which I received them.

Thanks a ton for all of the support in spreading the message guys, I can’t tell you how much it means to me to be able to interact with all of the vets who have contacted me.

Here’s a short podcast that I recorded this morning, give it a listen.

A Day of Remembrance

Today marks twenty years since the “first battle” of Mogadishu began in Somalia in 1993. This historic event is most recognizably commemorated by the book and film, “Black Hawk Down”, one of the most moving military films ever made in my opinion. (more…)

How Trophies are Fucking Everyone

by DBT

As a cop, I get exposed to many of the wrongs within our society. There are insanely educated people out there who will have you believe that the downfall of our country can be directly linked to the introduction of crack in the 80’s, kids playing violent video games, and Justin Timberlake pulling out Janet Jackson’s nipple on TV. I’ve performed my own sociological experiment to determine once and for all what the real problem is. (more…)

Be Cool

by Innes Randall

Enough is enough with the self-congratulation these days. This fucking “me decade” makes me want to puke. It’s tough for me to watch an NFL game these days because every tackle and every first down is a cause for a celebration. I especially love it when a player points to the sky to thank some God for a first down. Like your God gives a shit that you just made a first down. I’m waiting for someone to thank the fucking Easter Bunny or some shit. How about the players that point to the back of their jersey every time they do something halfway decent on the field? They aren’t team-driven, they only care about themselves. (more…)
